When you drive up the stoney driveway from the main entrance to Willowbrook Lodge you will pass a small brook that meanders through our meadowland.The fish in the brook are guarded by the Heron , and pheasants roam at leisure down the surrounding lanes. Ducks and moor hens swim happily and our wildflower meadow is a haven for other wild birds. All around us is countryside and lush green fields.....tranquility,complete peace and quiet,your relaxation has begun.

Offering friendly hospitality, the proprietors Alison and Alan will warmly welcome you with refreshments however late you may arrive!

Where are we ?

Willowbrook Lodge is situated 8 miles from Belfast, 5 miles from Saintfield and Lisburn City , in County Down.

We have a large child friendly garden.

A separate Lounge and dining area where guests can relax, watch TV or read and enjoy the view. Through the french doors there is a patio area to the garden.

Outside there are lots of lanes to walk and explore with old churches,cemetaries and only 10 minutes away is the Temple Golf Club, 10 more minutes takes you to the award winning 18 hole Rockmount Golf Club, If you like fishing there are some great fishing spots also.

Places to see ?

Rowallane Gardens and the Butterfly Farm at Seaforde a pleasant half hour drive away. Hillsborough, the home of Hillsborough Castle the favourite location of the Queen when she visits, is 15 minutes away. More >

There are lots of fabulous eating places nearby like The Plough, The Pheasant, The Parson's Nose.

The Saintfield Show is held in Saintfield in June which is an agricutural/equestrian event and is attended and enjoyed by many. The Balmoral Show in Belfast is held in May and is a key event in the agricultural calendar.

* For motorbike trips in the motorbiking season, Alan is on hand to be your guide to the best races,the best burger bars and the enjoyment and craic of the race day.

* For hen parties or wedding guests, Alison can direct you to the nicest nail bars,beauty bars,cocktail bars and restaurants and a local hairdresser can be pre-arranged to "do your hair" on the big day if you are a guest at a wedding.
